Dear Coach,
I want to thank you for all of the hard work you put into the strength training for our team this spring. But a simple letter of thanks cannot express the gratitude I have for how much you’ve helped me. By giving us seemingly impossible tasks of strength, agility, and endurance to accomplish every day, you have pushed my strength to a level I once thought impossible. I went from not being able to do one handstand pushup to repping out 15 in a row in the last set of our final workout.
But my strength is not where I’ve seen the biggest benefits of your training. My wrestling has been taken to a whole new level because of your help with my strength training. The physicality of the workouts has led me to be a much more physical and tenacious wrestler. You refused to allow me to rest on my laurels of good technique, and challenged me to work faster and harder than I ever have before. I have already seen the results of this pay off, in my 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winnings at off-season tournaments so far!
I can’t tell you enough how much your personal training and strength coaching helped my wrestling, and I feel that a letter doesn’t do justice to the hard work that you and everyone else in the room put out this spring. Because of all your help, I dedicate the next trophy I earn entirely to you and the accomplishments you’ve pushed me to! It is the least I can do for all of the work you put out on my, and the rest of the team’s, behalf!
Thank you for making me Leeger-Trained!
Sincerely,
E.D.
