Any motorist will know that, no matter how much money you pay for a car, how new or old it is, there will always be something that can go wrong. It doesn’t matter how rare the fault is, or how well the car runs most of the time, eventually something can go wrong – and when it does, you often find yourself having to hand over plenty of cash to get it repaired. Acura Repair Manual

I couldn't agree more!

In fact, it's one of the most frustrating things about the personal training industry - that the good marketers are the ones who get the highest pay/most clients, not the ones with the best techniques/most experience...

Tells you something about the way human beings work, I think.

Mr. Reznik’s services don’t come cheaply. Gym membership fees are as high as $23,000 a year; a one-hour private session at home costs $200 to $300

This is fucking bullshit. I have boxed for years, 12 in fact, and I see this shit all the time. One guy I used to train with spent $5000 on a fitness course (he'd only had 18 months of training himself and trying to get fit prior to this) and then next I hear he's charging clients $70 per hour LMAO

My trainer (a guy with 45 years experience) and I were talking these matters over one day and we come to the conclusion that with a bit of heart and some desire you could get up to speed training under a fucking tree if you had to.

An article like that seeks to create a mystique and feeling of 'specialness', and well I'm afraid there is nothing mysterious or special about people like that, they just add more to the online noise pullution.
